Since 2012, Peking University Library has been continually holding reading lectures to support the construction of campus culture, widen students’ horizons and promote general education. Since initiation, renowned scholars within and out of Peking University have been invited to the Library to communicate with students face to face about what to read, how to read, the pleasure of reading, the relations between reading and life and between reading and society, which has always been quite prevailing among students.
