Visitor Regulations

1.If you would like to access the library’s physical space to use library materials,you are required to submit an application through the library entry reservation platform with your ID certificate (employee card, student card, ID card or passport).After the application is approved,you can go to the Card Service Desk at the East entrance of PKU Library to confirm the access to the library.

2.You should abide by the borrowing rules when you want to borrow materials or use the computers in the library space to access to the electronic resources. Charges may apply for certain circumstances.

3.Visitors are only allowed to use and photocopy the materials within the library.Please be cautious of the library materials. Writing, cutting and staining are prohibited, otherwise a fine is charged.

4.Those who are hired by PKU under exchange programs, with senior professional title and need to borrow materials in our library can apply for the library borrowing card at the Card Service Desk at the East entrance to PKU Library according to Library Cards.

5.Visitors must abide by the rules and regulations of the library otherwise they will be  disciplined. When necessary, the right to borrow books may be suspended or canceled.
