北京大学第二十二届国际文化节

隆重推出“智影交汇，人机共生”系列观影会，

首场活动由北京大学国际合作部和北京大学图书馆联合主办，

将带你穿越时空，走进斯坦利·库布里克的科幻圣殿

《2001：太空漫游》。

In an era of globalization, along with the convergence of artificial intelligence,

cinema serves as a vital medium through which we explore technology, culture, and the destiny of human beings.

The 22nd Peking University International Culture Festival is thrilled to present the film series “When Cinema Meets AI: A Journey into Human-Machine Symbiosis”.

Transcending time and space, the first event will present you with the Stanley Kubrick’s sci-fi masterpiece — “2001: A Space Odyssey”.

《2001：太空漫游》是1968年上映的科幻史诗电影，由斯坦利·库布里克执导，剧本灵感源自英国著名科幻作家阿瑟·C·克拉克的短篇小说《前哨》。《2001：太空漫游》不仅是一部电影，更是一场哲学与视觉的革命。它探讨人类起源、AI觉醒与宇宙命运，至今仍被誉为“最伟大的科幻电影”，获得了第41届奥斯卡金像奖最佳视觉效果奖。

2001: A Space Odyssey, directed by Stanley Kubrick, is a sci-fi epic film released in 1968. The screenplay drew inspiration from the short story The Sentinel by Arthur C. Clarke, a renowned British science fiction author.

Beyond the film itself, 2001: A Space Odyssey is a philosophical and visual revolution. It explores themes such as human evolution, the awakening of AI, and humanity’s cosmic destiny.

In these days, it is still widely acclaimed as ​​"the greatest science fiction film ever made"​​ and won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects at the 41st Oscars.

导赏嘉宾

 

马大年，北京大学科学技术与医学史系助理教授、博士生导师。他在芝加哥大学获得科学史博士学位，并拥有帕维亚大学的物理学学位。他研究致力于重建现代物理学与计算方法的发展，特别关注其概念基础及文化背景。在北京大学，他积极参与校际跨学科研究项目，推动历史研究与科学实践之间的交流。

Daniele Macuglia is an Italian historian of science and assistant professor at Peking University. He received his Ph.D. in the history of science from the University of Chicago and holds a degree in physics from the University of Pavia. His researches aim to rebuilt the development of modern physics and computational methods, with particular attention to their conceptual foundations and cultural settings. At Peking University, he contributes to the university’s interdisciplinary initiatives and fosters exchange between historical research and scientific practice.
